Julie graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design in photography and has exhibited her work in various group and solo exhibitions in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Julie was a playback artist and operator for the sci-fi television series, "Stargate SG-1" (Seasons 8 and 10) and "Stargate Atlantis" (Seasons 1, 3, 4 and 5). She continues to work as a graphic artist and web designer and on the first Monday of every winter month, she facilitates the KNITWIT night at Blim.

When not blogging or baking, Julie can usually be found getting crafty, trying to master 4-finger chords, or playing with her 2 cats Butternut and T-box.
